RBCC Club Championships – Update

Some important information about the upcoming Club Champs events from Anna Murray…

 

ROUND 1 – Razorback Hillclimb – Sunday 30 April 2017

Don’t forget Round 1 is on this weekend!  Sunday, 30 April 2017 is the Razorback Hill Climb.  It will consist of an individual Time Trial up scenic Old Razorback with a distance of 4 km. Sign on at 7.30 am with the first rider leaving at 8 am.

Park in Lagoon Flats Road and the start line is on Old Razorback Road just past the junction with Cawdor Rd.

 

ROUND 2 – Penrith 20km ITT – Sunday 11 June 2017

This year Penrith CC have organised online entries for the time trial.  This will enable them to put up the start times prior to the race and then people can organise themselves accordingly.  The first riders will be off at 8am.  RBCC entry will be free – thanks to the club for picking up the costs.  Registration will be closed on Friday 9th June and times will be posted on PCC’s Facebook page and website on Saturday 10th June.

3 Gorges April 25  “B” RIDE (Anzac Day)

🏔🏔“B” level Long Ride North is On!!🏔

LONG ENDURANCE  “B” RIDE (With Hills)!!

Start time: Depart at 6:30 am from the Randwick gate and pass by the Harbour Bridge north pylon before heading up Pacific highway.

Note: to avoid traffic from Anzac Day Memorial Services the ride will usually need to go down Oxford St  then right onto College St (east side of Hyde Park) towards the Opera House and then left at Bridge St.

Pace: MEDIUM. For Riders who do Kellogg’s and Cronulla or similar rides.

Higher level riders who want an endurance ride are welcome but must stay to a medium pace on all but the 3 hills.

Ride time: 5 hours leading to a return time around midday.

Equipment: 2 bidons, food for 5 hours and at least one spare tube.

NSW State Masters Champs – Orange – 22-24 April 2017

The NSW State Masters will again be held in beautiful Orange. This is the chance for the roadies to compete against the best master’s riders in NSW across three disciplines being the road race, criterium and time trial.   Check out all the details here:

Club Dinner

A table has been booked at the Hotel Canobolas, 248 Summer Street, Orange at 6.30pm on Saturday, 22 April 2017 for members and partners. Please let Sue Henry know (if you haven’t already) if you wish to attend!  It will be great to get everyone together during the course of the weekend!

Easter Monday 3 Gorges B ride

YES CRONULLA RIDERS AND ALL RIDERS WANTING A LONG ENDURANCE “B” RIDE, THERE IS A GORGES RIDE FOR YOU TOO!!

Start time: Depart at 6:30 am sharp from the Randwick gate and pass by the Harbour Bridge north pylon before heading up Pacific highway.
