The Club Championship Program comprises A Time Trial Series, A Criterium
Series,
A Road Race
Championship (Handicap & Scratch & 2 day tour - 3 stages), plus a hill
climb championship
Time Trial
Series
1.
Comprises 5 events
2.
Includes the one lap Trophy Race at Heffron. Note 2 events included to
determine winner (ie. Best result of 2 to count for winner of current
Perpetual Trophy).
3.
Includes a long course ITT (New Perpetual Trophy in each grade).
4.
Points are awarded as listed, with worst result discarded to determine
series winner (New Perpetual Trophy)
5.
Winner can come from any grade. Points collected in your
grade goes towards series as well as individual championship points.
6.
Races spead over the year on Saturday or Sunday mornings - Heffron Park or
other location/(s) to be announced
Criterium
Series
1.
Comprises 4 events
2.
Distances vary depending on your grade.
3.
Points are awarded as listed, with worst result discarded to determine
series winner (New Perpetual Trophy).
4.
Winner can come from any grade. Collect points in grade &
goes towards series as well as individual championship points.
Hill
Climb
1 .Novelty
event to suit everyone.

Tour
1.
3 stages - ITT (h'cap),
Group H'cap Crit (Trophy Race) & H'cap Road Race (Doubles as Club H'cap RR
Champs)

First stage a 1 lap
time trial. All riders rated eg Say best rated rider is 3.00mins,
& say John is rated at
3.10. Therefore John gets a 10 sec h'cap over first rated rider.
John rides a 3.07 and
scratch rider does a 3.01. Therefore Rated riders corrected time is 3.01
and John is 2.57.
3.
Second Stage a H'cap
crit with riders divided into 4-5 bunches. Times taken to add to ITT
corrected time. Also doubles as Trophy Race.
4.
Third Stage H'cap RR
at location to be announced. Same format as crit. Time added to GC for overall winner. Also
will double as a trophy race
Club
Championship Road
Race
1.
Raced in grades at location to be announced as in previous years. (Trophy Race)
2.
Varying distances depending on grade. To be advised.
3.
Double Points towards
the club champs.
Note:
Registration for ITT &
Crit events - 15 minutes prior to start. Handicap Road Race - 2 days
prior.
Handlers & Helpers who
sacrifice a ride in ITTs & Crits will get points equal to 3rd place in
their grade towards the overall championship (once only during the series).
These points do not accrue to individual championships such as crtierium,
ITT etc |
