 | The Club Championship competition is open to all current
affiliated members of the Randwick Botany Cycling Club. Please
note that if you leave RBCC to join another NSW affiliated club
during the competition year, you will relinquish all points and
positions attained up to that point and will be ineligible for club
trophies/awards. This does not apply to a member who moves
interstate or overseas. |
 | Details and start times etc. will be posted on the website and
emailed a few days prior to the event. Apart from races at
Heffron which will be before Saturday racing, they are generally
early morning.
|
 | The lowest point is awarded to all finishers.
|
 | The date for the Heffron rounds are yet to be finalised, but we
don’t foresee any problems. |
 | Legs 1 and 2 of the crit championship will be at Heffron park.
These will be up to 8 laps each, and to mix it up a little, one will
be reverse direction. We are hoping to arrange another round
for the crit at the fantastic Lansdowne park.
|
 | For anyone still in the running for a place, you might not be
able to avoid the last round of the championships, a TT at Calga.
A and B grade will do the full distance (approx. 40km), C and D
grade will do the shorter course (approx 25km). |
 | If either the 1 lapper or the Heffron crits are cancelled due to
inclement weather we will aim to run these one week after.
|
 | Grades will be determined before the graded scratch race at
eastern creek based on 20k TT, 1 lapper TT, handicapper opinion of
form and potential, bribery (strong continental beer or a bottle of
Pol Roger please) and the usual complaining. For how many more
years can Barry Mourad stay out of A grade?
|
 | As usual, marshals will get 6 points. You can assist with
one race. If you can assist with any races please contact Anna
Murray.

 | As usual, the races which we facilitate such as Heffron, Eastern
Creek and Lansdowne will not have an entry fee with costs covered by
the Club. However, the other events such as the hillclimb,
ITTs at Penrith and Calga will require entry fees to be paid as they
are being facilitated by other clubs. |
 | The Annual Dinner and awards have already been booked in for
a Friday evening in November (exact date to be fixed). |
 | Full details and rules will be posted on the website. |
