INFO
Just like all it's predecessors, this Hi Altitude
training camp is sure
to be fantastic in all aspects, in terms of
fitness/training, low cost, socially with copious amounts of
laughter, accommodation, food etc. We all had a great time on previous Jindabyne training camps and I would
urge all members to support the 2006 high altitude training camp which is
being planned by Nathan Rollason. Nathan and his family has had a lot of experience with
Jindabyne camps
as the picture above shows. I guarantee that you will have a fantastic training
holiday.

The RBCC Jindabyne Summer Training Camp is on
again from Thursday 26th Jan to Monday 30th Jan. Total: 4 nights. |

Accommodation is planned at the Three Way Inn (we have stayed
here for many years past) and
the cost is estimated at $25 per person per night (which includes breakfast and
incidental items). If you are interested in attending this fabulous
training camp at the top of Australia, please contact Rollo on o411 577 072 or
email nrollason@hotmail.com ASAP for more information. Up-front payment will be required to reserve a spot and will need
to be paid by Saturday 7 January
2006 (first club race day for 2006).
Positions at the Three Way
Inn are limited, so get in quick and don't miss out. You can however
always arrange your own accomodation. In other words, numbers are only
limited in terms of accomodation at the Three Way Inn. If you prefer to
make it a second Honeymoon at a 5 star resort go right ahead, there is no
restriction in terms of the amount of riders |

SPECIAL TREAT |
RBCC member, Daniel Healy who is Managing Director of Fusion
Health Management Pty Ltd is going to present a 60-90 minute
presentation via overhead projector on Nutrition for Endurance
Athletes entitled: Nutrition for Endurance Athletes –
Preparation, Performance and Recovery
Daniel is highly qualified on the subject and published this
topic as part of his thesis for his Masters Degree (1998) in the
subject. The research was 100% focused on the interaction
between Nutrition and Muscle Mechanics during multiple day ultra
endurance events such as the Tour De France, Eco Challenge and
Marathon of The Sands. There will also be some basic
handouts so everyone has something to take away.
