The Junior Program
recommenced for 2005 on 29 Jan 2005
The feature race for the first day of the
year was an Under 15, 8 lap or 16km handicap. Aaron Bicknell and
Tim Duncan had to get a lap back off Jack Reed. Jack worked hard
and went through a bit of liquid in his quest to stay away. Left
Jack throws out the old with orders to the pits for a fresh bidon.
Next lap Jack's dad came
good with the fluid.
Meanwhile a little
further back, Tim and Aaron were swapping off turns and riding hard to
get Jack back.
Jack is all smiles as he
crosses the finish line in first place but only just as just behind him
are Aaron and Tim going head to head for second place.
Tim Duncan digs deep as
he tries to match his sprint with Aaron Bicknell. Tim had to
settle for third however on this occasion as Aaron cruised in to take
second place
Emma Jones had a great
ride. Here she is coming home first U15 Woman.
