Luke Cridland took the silver medal in the NSW State Criterium Championships in the Under 15 Mens division.  After comfortably placing in his heat first (10 to the final x 2 heats), Luke had a rough and tuff final with a fall at the rear of the bunch within the last 1/2 lap and at the last bend about 150 metres before the finish line.  Luke was positioned 4th before he powered his way thru the field to finish 1/2 length behind Tyler McLachlan from Southern Cross Club.  Jonathon Cridland rode strongly and was in many breaks during the U 13 race. At one stage he had a good break with another rider from the Bathurst Club.  The bunch had to work hard together to get them back and only did so with 2 laps remaining.  Jonno was able to re-position himself back in the front of the bunch for the sprint but unfortunately the breakaway attempt took its toll and he was swamped by 5 other riders during the sprint to the finish line and finished just out of the official placings. Other riders from Randwick Botany were Rob Cater and Chris Jenkins who competed in the U17 Mens divison.  Both made their way to the finals, Rob doing it in style by winning his heat with a solo breakaway.  They were both involved in the bunch sprint but also unfortunately finished out of the placings.

Adriano Maradini started in the U11 race and showed great determination to have a go against the best riders in NSW.   Unfortunately Adriano was withdrawn after being lapped towards the end of the race.
