Report

The racing was held at Parramatta Park on a 3.1k loop thru the park.   In the under 13m division, Jonno Cridland got second and picked up $20.  In the U15m Keegan Atchinson won followed closely by Luke Cridland in 2nd.  For Keegan’s effort he took home $50 plus an open order.  Luke came away with $30.  In the U17m Chris Jenkins came second taking home $35 and also  took out the mid race prime of $10. Robert Cater went over the line in third and collected $25 for his placing.  In the masters D grade Nick Contogiannis had an unbelievable first open with nick not entering until about 30 seconds before the start ...yes we were still pinning his  number on his back when they said go.  He rode on the front for about 90% of the race and with a very vocal group of supporters cheering him on he broke away with 3 laps to go and the bunch never saw him again. Not bad for his first open. He went on to win comfortably and took home $70 and an open order. ........see you in C grade next week Nick .  So nearly every rider who raced from our club finished in the top 3 in their divisions . Once again it was the juniors of the club that carried the flag with the exception of the fantastic ride by Nick who decided to have a go.  We all had a good day.

Report thanks to Ken Cridland
