TEAM ARGON. Above John
Buckton in action on his beautiful new time trial bike in the Masters 4
Individual Time Trial at Penrith Regatta Centre on Friday 8 October 2004.
Right Mark "The Slapper" Robertson puts his Argon 18 "Mercury" through its
paces in the Masters 2 event. Slapper was very unlucky to miss out on
a medal coming in 4th. |

Master's 2 event. |
Steve Horn had a great ride taking the Bronze
medal in the Master's 3 event. Steve looked pretty fair dinkum turning
up with a brand new Zipp disk. |

Great to see Randolph Baral competing in the
State Titles. Randolph, a relatively new member was not daunted by a
State open and got out there and flew the flag. Good on you Randolph.
It was a little dissapointing that only 6 RBCC members contested the State
Titles. It was a fabulous couple of days and everyone had a fantastic
time. |
Sunday and the Master's 4 were off fairly
early. Those who know me must have been thinking "What's he doing" as
I left my wheel sucking position at the back and led out the entire first
lap. There was method in my madness. I wanted to let Ernie get a
good shot while I was still smiling. Good on you Ernie. |

I think Ernie captured Horny a little later in
the race because Steve looks a little stressed in this one. Steve rode
a fantastic race though and was unlucky to be out of the medals. |
With two away, it came down to a bunch sprint
for the Bronze medal and Patty was "flying" in that final sprint. He
had a rider right on his wheel but there was no way Pat was going to let him
come over. Great ride by Pat. |
