REPORT

Sorry not much to report this week.  Tony Horneman, our resident action photographer was off with a bad back and I finally finished a race so was unavailable to take any sprint shots.

Randwick Botany picked up the trifecta in A grade.  Congratulations to Matt, Josh and Spongee.  It was good to see Adam Bradstreet having a run in B grade with a very good result as well with an excellent 5th place in his first B grade race.  Congratulations also to Julian Robert-Shaw on his 2nd place not to take anything from the fine B grade win of Andrew Shepherd of Sydney club.

Sorry C grade I have absolutely no idea how I forgot to photograph you guys (and girl).  I apologise for that.  Actually you can see a picture of Steve in the results of 1 May and Rachael O'Connell on 17 April.  Interesting that on those dates, the above riders placed in D grade and in a few short weeks here they are taking the top positions in C grade.  Good work Steve and Rachael.

Sorry D Grade I tried to soften little Tommy Patton up in the Junior Events prior to Seniors.  Tom did 2 ten kilometre scratch races and a 2km time trial.  So all up I had him do 11 laps at race pace.  Unfortunately all it seemed to do was warm him up.  Congratulations Tom on cleaning up the D graders.  Thanks to Ronny Sproule for obviously going easy on the youngster in the sprint.

Congratulations to Carmen in E grade. Carmen has been a regular over the last few weeks and after weeks of playing bridesmaid to resident E grade strongman, Joe Gatt, she was finally Bride.  Joe I see some future competition for you in our crystal ball.
