REPORT

There were plenty of attacks in A grade with riders going off the front all the time much to the dislike of Anthony "Spurge" Spurgeon who likes a nice steady pace so he can blow everyone out of the water in the sprint.  Left, Hector Morales and Matt Lucas creep off the front of the A grade peleton.

RBCC's Saxon Johns had a fabulous race and was away with nearly every break.  Saxon looked extremely good and must be very fit at the moment

The A grade sprint and no one else in sight.  RBCC's Jerzy Sowa raises his hands in victory.  Jerzy is in top form also at the moment.  Good on you Jerzy.

Nathan Saunders leads the B grade bunch up the pimple.  Big Andy Hall on Nathan's right, was never too far from the front.

16 year old, former RBCC junior, Andrew Young had his first ride in B grade and looked pretty good early in the race.  Few more weeks and I feel sure he will be giving the boys some grief.

Frank turns up the wick a little and looks around wondering where everyone has gone.  Very reminiscent of the Fortuna training rides when we go out for a light "Tic Tac" with Frank.

The B grade sprint and Kev Black does it pretty easy with plenty of time to turn around to see where everyone else came.  Frank Fortuna lead out the sprint but went a bit early only to hit the wall and have Kev and Andy Matthews steam by but still managing to hold on to 3rd place.

Frank seemed pretty pleased with his third place earnings though and proudly displayed some of the "Big Bucks" that can be made at Randwick Botany races.

C grade action and in what must be a collector's item, picture left show's Dale Rockell driving the bunch down the straight.  Even stranger is that just behind him to his right is Roy O'Toole who was also seen at the front of the C grade bunch.

Too bad I missed a photo of that one.  Also pictured, big Craig Blundell who stayed close to the front.

Left Matthew Cowdray drives up the pimple and no, it's not Elvis behind him, it is C grade stalwart, Tony Caruana.

The C grade sprint and Ranwick botany's Michael Fantin takes it fairly easily.

The D grade sprint and Steven Beletich gives it everything right to the line.  Good to see Guy Bicknell up there with a fine second placing.  Good on you Guy.
