THANK YOU:

Thanks to our Commissaires, Helen Vella, Joanne & John Buckton.  Thanks to our safety marshals.  Thanks to  Ritchard Jenkins  for being in Canberra this weekend and allowing me to appreciate the joy of deploying and retrieving all the safety equipment. Thanks to Fred Vella who manned the canteen.   Thanks to RJ and trainees from the St John Ambulance.

REPORT

A few of our regular A grade heros were away competing in the Canberra tour.  Despite the absences, A grade was fast and furious with big Roger Crawford gaining second place in only his second race in a grade.

It was Randwick Botany first, second and third with Jersy Sowa outsprinting Roger for the win and Paddy Jones just about burning rubber he was so close on Roger's wheel.

Here's A grade exiting the "squircle"

Jersy leads Michael Cohen, Roger Crawford, Craig Dempsy and Pat "Paddy" Jones.

What happened in B Grade?  Southern Cross first, St George second and Sydney third.  What's happened to Randwick Botany? Oh Well maybe next week.  Congratulations to Keegan on an excellent ride.

Chris "Dowdy" Dowd has been riding strongly of late.  Dowdy doesn't like his picture taken.... MUCH !

Chris White drives the B grade bunch out of the "Squircle".  Eventual 2nd place getter is tucked in behind.

Suzi Jackson spent a lot of time on the front of C grade and seemed to enjoy it immensely.

Adam Bradstreet (eventual 3rd place getter) leads fellow RBCC member and 2004 paralympian hopeful, Will Ellrick as D grade exits the "Squircle"

The D grade bunch passes the start finish line early in the race.

The D grade sprint with Chris Reynolds narrowly edging out William Salter for victory

Eventual 2nd and 3rd E grade placegetters, Carlos Serafin and Joe Gatt exit the "Squircle" in the E Grade race.

Junior racing commenced for 2004 today. Sat 7 February 2004, with an exciting new junior race programme developed by the Junior Development Committee.  More information can be obtained from the Junior Support Co-ordinator Janette Murdoch.
