A & B grade action as Liam Kelly closely followed by Richard
Lang in A grade pass the two B grade break-aways, Patrick
O'Shea and Richard "Lance" Westmoreland |
| |
|
 |
|
The A grade sprint was down to 2 with Tom Brook puncturing
with 3 to go. Tom re-entered the race with a new wheel
but his legs were unable to return to race pace after having
stood around for a lap. Young gun Richard led out the sprint
with Liam Kelly trying to make a move towards the line.
Liam could not match the speed of young Richard and raised
his hand to acknowledged what was a fantastic win by the
youngster. Everyone will remember what a fantastic
road sprinter Roland Lang was in his hey day well according
to Roland son Richard is faster. |
| |
|
 |
|
Meanwhile back in B grade, Pat O'Shea and Richard
Westmoreland spent most of the race out by themselves.
With one to go however Patrick thought it was about time
that he shook off Richard. Above Patrick cruises in to
victory whilst checking behind to see where Richard is. |

E grade action withthe girls making it "One, Two, Three"
Above Elisha Rose crosses the line just ahead of Emma Jones
with Leanne Emery in third place |

Bit of drama in F grade with Big Joe and John going at it
neck and neck when John pulled his foot in the sprint.
Sorry no photo of it but when I saw it happen, I dropped the
camera and dived over the grassy bank for cover.
Thankfully whilst John did some wild meandering he was able
to stay upright although Joe got the victory |
