Apologies to the Juniors as once again the track seemed to
be double booked with about 100 triathletes starting at the Junior
appointed time of 4pm. Thanks to parents Stuart Sharpe and Guy and
Hanja Bicknell who took the juniors down to the netball courts and put
together a skills/fun afternoon. Don't forget no racing next weekend
over Easter and Juniors returns to the 1pm timeslot the week after. |
THANK YOU:
Thanks to Commissaires Joanne Buckton

A good field of A graders took the line.
A couple were away at the State Criterium Championships at
Dunc Gray criterium circuit. Congratulations to our
Sister club rider, Pete "The Machine" McDonald from
Caravello who came second and RBCC's Robbie Cater who came
third. |

It wasn't long till big Troy Glennan
skipped away off the front of A grade with RBCC's Dave
Treacey. The pair worked well together to stay away
from the A peleton. Dave is off to Malta next Friday
to try out for the Matese Commonwealth games team to compete
in Melbourne. We wish him the best of luck. |

The A grade finish with Dave Treacey
crossing the line in second place with half a Bianchi of
winner Troy Glennan just in front of him. Nathan Page
had a great race and in the latter stages, he too skipped
off the front for a solo third place ride-away. Nathan
is getting "race-fit" and is improving every race, so watch
out guys |

Whilst he is a regular at Tues night
racing at Heffron, we haven't seen John Sunde at Heffron on
Saturday for a number of years. John was going
fantastically for 15 laps then "out the back". Sorry
John, we race 18 laps not 15. |
