REPORT
Sorry no action shots this week as both Tony Horneman and
myself were away at the State Team Time Trial at Gunning.
Some of the boys like Robbie Cater however, raced as normal on
Sat afternoon and then drove down to the TTT on Sunday
morning. It is great to see Robbie Cater back racing and
even better to see him winning A grade. Good work
Robbie.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the President
of Cycling NSW, Mr Kerry Ruffles for finally making a decision
in respect of the participation of Juniors in Senior racing.
Finally some sense prevails and it is good to see juniors
returning to racing and cycling generally. We should be
embracing our future not driving them away to other sports as
the previous policy was most definitely doing.
Talking about Juniors, they must have given B grade a hard
time with three of them on the podium, Richard Lang, Tom
Patton & Luke Davison. Great to see Tom Patton back down
at Heffron.
There were Juniors throughout the grade results with former
member, now with Southern Cross, Tayla Aitchison placing in C
grade. U15 riders, Tim Duncan and Ben Elliot getting on
the podium in D grade and Adriano Maradini winning E grade.

Randwick Botany Cycling Club conducts
racing at Heffron Park, Maroubra NSW each Saturday throughout the
year. Juniors start at 12.30pm. Seniors D & E Grade start at 2.00pm
and A, B & C grade at 3pm. For more
