REPORT

Today was the first day of our new race times. 4pm for
D. E & F grade and 5pm for A, B & C grades.
Numbers were about the same and generally there was some
very positive feedback in respect of the new times. |

Congratulations to Anthony Fortuna for a great ride and fine
win in D grade, holding off fast finishing 1956 Olympian
Carlo Ghisolfi who took second place by a tyre width.
Well now we have seen, Frank, Rosanna, Anna, Rebecca and
Anthony Fortuna in podium photos. Can C grade please
let Uncle Rocky win one for God's sake so I can put his
picture up and then we all don't have to listen to the
excuses, "I was run into the grass" "Bucko sat up in
the Squircle and backed me out", etc etc. |

Congratulations to Ben Grant, who after winning F grade last
week, moved up a grade to D and took 3rd place in the higher
grade. Well done Ben |

MORE INFORMATION
**NEXT WEEK 12 Nov **- Races will be
handicap like East Subs Tues night series. There will be 2
handicap races. At 4pm, D grade will be scratchies chasing E &
F and at 5pm A grade will be scratchies chasing B & C.
Thereafter the first Sat of the month will be
a handicap race.
Important note: Daylight Saving
hours
Randwick Botany Cycling Club conducts
racing at Heffron Park, Maroubra NSW each Saturday throughout the
year. Juniors start at 12.30pm and 3pm during daylight saving.
Daylight saving starts on 30 October. There is no club
racing this weekend as the Snowy Wilson Memorial Open is on.
However starting the following week, that is, Saturday 5th
November, D, E, & F grades will start at 4pm and A, B
& C grades will start at 5pm.
