REPORT
Well since the first Handicap race back in January of this
year, A grade did not win this week. C grade were able
to stay away in the windy conditions. The pace and the
conditions served to turn half the field into spectators and
riders were strewn about the circuit. There was one
group of C graders however that managed to not only stay
together, but work well together. It was this harmony
of effort that eventually got them the victory. First
A grader home, Peter McDonald was not at all upset and told
me that it was one of the best races that he had been in.
So that was very pleasing to hear and gracious of Pete. |
