REPORT
The third week of the month saw another exciting race in reverse
direction for A B & C grades. A grade did 50km, B Grade
46km and C grade 40km. Some powerhouse performances
especially in the C grade field with 3 escapees, Matt Yaxley,
Jarrod Owen and Erin Chamberlain staying away for the entire
race. They worked well together not only increasing their
lead on C grade but actually gradually reeling back B grade.
Guys and girls, if you can ride away from C and catch B, then
guess what ???
As for the peleton sprint for 4th place well that was taken out
by Dave Lippman. Dave you might also consider the question
I posed above.
PRIZE MONEY
Don't forget that thanks to the generous support of our
sponsor FRF and in an effort to encourage more A graders
to Saturday racing at Heffron Park, the prize
money has been SUBSTANTIALLY
increased. First in A grade is $150 and $200 for
the handicap winner.
START TIMES
Randwick Botany Cycling Club conducts
racing at Heffron Park, Maroubra NSW each Saturday throughout the
year. Juniors start at 12.30pm.
Seniors D, E, & F grades will start at 2pm and
A, B & C grades will start at 3pm.

RACING SHEDULE
A handicap race for A B & C grades will be conducted on the first
Saturday of every month. Second, fourth & fifth
Saturdays will be normal scratch races. On the Third Saturday
of every month racing will be longer and conducted in reverse
direction. A grade 25 laps (50 kilometres), B grade 23 laps
and C grade 20 laps. D, E & F will be normal distance
