REPORT

An exciting handicap saw A club catch B grade on lap 7.  By lap 9, A Open had caught the combined A club & B grade bunch and the survivors of this bunch continued the hard charge to bring back C grade.  They got sight of C grade on the bell lap but were unable to bridge the gap. Congratulations to Con Karantonis and the C grade bunch who worked well together to stay away and win on this occasion.

	John Sunde was fired up and ready to go.  Good to see John racing on Saturday.  He usually restrains his Heffron Park attendances to Tuesday nights during the Summer Series.
	Frank & Natasha Caristo brought young Xavier down to check out racing.
	Con Karantonis takes out the sprint in the A, B & C combined handicap.
	Matt Lucas gave Liam Kelly a run right to the line for first A open and fastest time honours.  Liam just got there in the end.
	Sean Bloch throws for the line to take out first B grader home honours.
	Early in the race and Dave "knuckles" Crampton drives C grade down the start/finish straight.
	D, E & F grades on the line and good to see Bebe back having a race.

PRIZE MONEY

Handicap winner receiving $150.  A grade winner on normal day is $120 and we now have a first A club prize of $50.

START TIMES

Randwick Botany Cycling Club conducts racing at Heffron Park, Maroubra NSW each Saturday throughout the year. Juniors start at 12.30pm. Seniors D, E, & F grades will start at 2pm and A, B & C grades will start at 3pm.

RACING SHEDULE

A handicap race for A B & C grades will be conducted on the first Saturday of every month.  Second,  fourth & fifth Saturdays will be normal scratch races.  On the Third Saturday of every month racing will be longer and conducted in reverse direction.  A grade 25 laps (50 kilometres), B grade 23 laps and C grade 20 laps.  D, E & F will be normal distance
