A grade action and RBCC/FRF rider Brent Jenkins was pretty keen for that $150 win.  Brent attacks (above) with about 3 to go and the pain on Matt Lucas's face shows as he tries to hold Brent's wheel.

Eventual 2nd and third place getters, Anthony "The King of Heffron" Spurgeon and Jeff " The Doc" Jones fall in behind Matt.

Richard Heath in his first ever race seems to be saying, "What's the big deal about this racing thing?" as he leads C grade past the start/finish line in his first ever race.

I was going to put the caption to this photo as:

Dave Crampton drives C grade down the start finishing straight till I saw the next photo which I had taken in "burst" mode.

So the correct caption is: Felix Tucci drives C grade down the start/finish straight whilst Dave Cramption sucks his wheel.

The day was spoilt  a bit by the wounding of my training partner Rocky Fortuna.  Not only did Rocky break a collar bone but when he saw me taking pictures he indicated to me that he had something in his eye as well.

As they loaded the "Rockstar" into the ambulance, I asked him if it hurt much he just threw me this smile. Don't worry gang He is going to recover.  I enjoyed a couple of quiet ones with him that evening for anasthetic reasons only of course.
