REPORT

Nathan Saunders takes A grade over the pimple in the early laps of the race.

After numerous attacks the trio of Matt Lucas, Stewart "Computer" Campbell and Alex Carver.

The A grade sprint and Computer was too good for his companion break aways.

Sam Gilbert is back to full form after a recent injury and leads B grade over the pimple.  Sam went on to take out the B grade event.

Sam Gilbert charges home with Nick Wainman finishing in second place in the B grade event.

Obviously a photo of the early part of the C grade race with David "Knuckles" Crampton leading them down the start finish straight.

The C grade sprint was neck to neck.  In the end however Rob Dooley took victory from James Mabbott by the narrowest of margins.

D grade and Alex Ramsay took a flyer on the final lap and left the bunch looking at each other and wondering who was going to chase him down which of course doomed them to failure.  Their sprint was for second place and further back in the picture Daniel can be seen "Unleashing the Dragon" as he puts it, as he unleashes his sprint.

Daniel has been glued to "Le Tour" and learning from all the road sprinters.  He still holds Theo Boss, the Dutch track sprinter as his hero and it is really obvious that he has been watching them closely as he "throws" for the line.  I suppose it is good practise but Daniel you usually do it when riders are beside you not 10 lengths behind !!

Still Daniel continues to stager many of us given that he has only been on a bike for 6 mths, this is his 3rd ever race and he truly only rides twice a week (Sat & Sunday)
