REPORT
A grade broke up with only 3 in the lead
group in the later stages. Then about 3 to go, Jules Galli
lost contact with Brent Skippen and Matt Yaxley. He rode
strongly to hold his third spot with a chasing peloton of about
5 in the closing stages. Down to the sprint, it was Brent
Jenkins taking it from Matthew Yaxley second with Jules holding
on for third spot.
The pain shows on Matt Lucas's face as he is
forced to do a turn on the front of B grade. We have had
to downgrade Matt to B because he has been, "off the bike", "doing no
miles", etc etc.
Gavin White takes out the B grade sprint
and takes time to check out his heart rate monitor prior to
crossing the victory line.
A break of 6 went off the front of C grade and
worked well together before in the later stages it dropped to three
and that's how they finished, Jeremy Alchin first, Erin Chamberlain
second and Barry "Bazza" Mourad third.

Seniors E & F grades will start at 2pm and
A, B, C & D grades will start at 3pm.
