REPORT

I want to take this opportunity to thank all those riders who have embraced the wearing of their club or NSW team sanctioned uniform at Saturday's racing.  The racing looks very professional  and I am sure that all the sponsors are extremely happy.

 

 

Perhaps this has assisted in changing the dynamics of the race as riders from the same club elect not to chase down breaks containing their club mates.  Yesterday we saw A grade blown apart with riders strewn around the circuit in various groups.  Makes it very easy for our judges as Nick Rathbourne cruised in first with Matt Lucas a little further back and Robbie Cater in third place.

 

 

 

Same with B grade as groups were strewn about the circuit.  Young Mark Williams however rode off on his own and managed to stay away for about the last three laps.  Above he finished well ahead (That's the A grade bunch looming up behind him).

 

 

 

Above Mark Leach and Guy O'Riordan take out the second and third placings.

 

 

Meanwhile back at the Peleton, the final sprint for about 6th place and beyond.

 

 

 

C grade sprint and part time C grade rider, Paul Shepherd grabs victory.  Paul, you are now etched permanently in B grade.

START TIMES

As we outside daylight saving time, racing times are now:

Juniors start at 1pm. Seniors  A, B, C & D grades will start at 2pm.  

 

NOTE:  There will be no racing on the Labour Day Public Holiday weekend on Sat 3 Oct 2009.  Racing will resume the following week, 10 Oct 2009, at which time we will be within Daylight saving time and as such Juniors will start at 3pm and Seniors  A, B, C & D grades will start at 4pm.  

 

 

RACING SHEDULE

Scratch races for A, B, C, & D grades if sufficient numbers in attendance.
