REPORT
On behalf of the Executive of the Randwick Botany
club I would like to thank all those riders who have embraced our
rule and are now proud to wear the club sanctioned uniform. At
the end of the day you are helping yourselves by supporting your
club's respective sponsors. You keep them happy and they will
happily fund the club for the following year.
Now speaking of people supporting our sponsors.
Check out Andy Condliffe showing off the FRF flagship, the Colnago
Extreme Power and where he bought it from !!
A grade winner Dave Early too strong for the rest
of A grade. A couple made the break with him but they
eventually cracked as he simply rode away from them.
Eventually he piloted his weapon of choice, another Colnago Extreme
Power to victory over a minute in front of the rest of the field.
Andrew Richards, took a flyer 2 laps from the end
in the B grade event and was able to hold off the chasing peleton
over the bell lap to take a solo victory. Congratulations
Andrew. Now with your winnings you need to update that
uniform.
C grade and Andrew Gordan takes victory. I am
sure that Frank (and I think everyone knows who Frank is), will be
pleased that all the Easts riders are wearing their club kit.
D grade and two riders rode off the front and just
kept going. It was then down to a sprint of 2 with Guy
Bicknell just getting the better of Gary Brouwer. Welcome to C
grade boys !!
