Report

Another great A grade turn-out this week.  The VERY windy conditions though, saw lots of retirements and the inevitable breaks as riders lost wheels and stronger riders were able to work with one and other to get away and stay away.  Such was the case in all grades which made Commissaring easy with 2's and 3 sprinting for victory.

Great to see everyone supporting their club and their sponsors and wearing their authorised uniform.  The new Easts jersey featured well in many of the podium shots.

Congratulations to young Brynn Bull who had his first run in C grade and managed to stay with the bunch for the majority of the race in the horrendous conditions.  Not bad effort for your first try and well done Brynn.

Congratulations also to the D grade podium girls, Lizanne and Cait, who spent most of the race off the front by themselves working well together.  Congratulations also to Jindabyne rider Zac Zala who hung in there and out-sprinted his father, Peter to take out 3rd place.

Thanks to Bob Bykerk who took some fabulous photos on the day.  They can be viewed on Bob's Facebook page:  http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150832166473944.436717.556708943&type=1

Riders Please Note-

Don't forget that you must race in your club uniform, unless entitled as a registered member of a Cycling NSW or Cycling Australian registered or International team, to wear registered team uniform.  All male (non junior) registered team members will be required to compete in the  A grade event.  Female registered team members will be allowed to compete in B grade event.

If you for any reason wish to change your grade (as recorded in the computer), you will not be allowed to at Registration.

Grade changes will only be authorised by me (John Buckton).
