THANK YOU:

Commissaires John Buckton & Trainee Commissaire Rebecca Fortuna All grades,

Richard Jenkins & Trainee Commissaire Sue Shavkin A, B & C grades. Thanks to Ritchard Jenkins & Matthew Hynes who deployed and retrieved all the witches hats and signs. Thanks to Anna Fortuna for manning the canteen.

How could I forget to mention ROCKY FORTUNA who climbed out of his death bed from a terible accident only days before where terrible damage was inflicted to the front of a motor car.  Rocky put on a brave face to assist as usual at Heffron.

Before

Just goes to show you what a superior athletic metabolism combined with the healing powers of about 100 kilos of Italian pasta and virgin olive can do for you.

After

Thanks also to our safety marshals James Dalton, Johnny Chamberlain and Tony Horneman who not only performed the role of Marshals but also provided a very interesting race race comentary around the track which we bradcast over our Public address system for the spectatores.  Thanks to Sue Shavkin who assisted Joanne on the Registration table.  Thanks to Leeann Emery for being our First Aid Officer.

REPORT

With most of the A opens away, A grade was once again combined this week.  In the end though the blistering speed of Luke Davison was too good yet again.

B grade sprint was a family affair with Mark Hanley taking victory and his brother Paul coming in second.  Really close battle for third place between Dave Mackey and Peter O'Connor.

Paul Bailey from Waratah Vets made it look pretty easy in C grade.

I would like to thank Sue Shavkin and RichardJenkins for assisting me as fellow Commissaires this week.

Photo 1 - Sue Asks Richard and I, "Where's DAVID?"

The B Grade bunch goes past about lap 3 and we note that he is not with them.  There is initial concern from Sue then terrible Shame as she sees him and realises that yet again, he has gone "OTA"

Don't worry Darling, you will do 4 laps next week.
