REPORT

With most of the A opens away, A grade was once again combined this week.  Most of the A Clubbies had a sensational ride however hanging on to the A opens for most of the race.

Towards the end Matt Lucas and Brent Skippen got away and worked well together to stay away.  In the end and although Brent led it out, he was too strong for Matt in the sprint and took the glory.

Nathan Rollason took the peleton sprint for third with Dave Stevens, 1st A clubbie home, placing 4th.

JERSEY SPONSORS

Dave "Knucles" Crampton, did lots of work at the front whilst "the old fella", Chris White happily sucked his wheel.  a little further back, Stewey King sat ready to pounce Suart King too strong in the B grade sprint.

Dale Rockell was sighted doing lots of secret "Carbo Loading" before the race but it didn't do him any good. Adam Goc was just too strong for the rest of them in the C grade gallop.  Welcome to B grade Adam.

D grade and the secret Weapon, Chao Wu, looked fantastic as he drove the bunch. although we have given Chao a few lessons like how to corner, etc which resulted in his fine win the previous week, we forgot to tell him that it is ok to lead out 400 metres to go with the wind behind you but on windy days you sprint in the leeward side.  There was Chao leading out 400 to go right on the windward side.  Needless to say he ran out of puff about 50 to go with experince winning out as big Matty Hynes blasted down the inside to victory.

The E grade train with these three away. Although Sheryl tried everything to drop him, Keiran stuck with her and then turned up the wick on the bell lap.  Great victory and young Keiran is learning new racing skills every week.
