REPORT
Today was a workout
let me tell you. Especially for A, B & C grades. It
was a howling Nor'Easter and A grade did 22 laps in reverse
direction. B grade did 18 and C grade did 16 laps.
There was nowhere to hide going down the main straight and
riders at the front made sure the following riders got no relief
by riding right in the gutter. There were a few "Wild"
lines through the squircle as riders committed through the
corners and then got caught by big gusts half way through.
No surprises that
Grafton Inverell winner Pete McDonald got up to win A grade in
the treacherous conditions.
In B grade Paul
Kraszewski took a flyer on the bell lap and caught everyone
sleeping. He was able to stay away right to the line to
take victory.
Sorry with Rocky away
in Adelaide watching the Tour Down Under, no photos except the
podium shots this week. This week, I had trainee camerman
Anthony "The King" Spurgeon take the shots. Thanks Spurge.
D grade and I don't
know what the hell Lindsay Monks is doing. Supposed to be
some in-house DH thing (that's Dulwich Hill).
Don't forget no
racing next Saturday over the Australia Day Long Weekend.
Racing will resume on Saturday 3 February.
Until then, Enjoy the
long weekend and see you all soon.
