REPORT

An early break saw 4 cyclists go off the
front of A grade. Whist he rode very corageously, the going got
a little bit hot for Dave "Jacko" Jackson and he went back to
the peleton. Luke Davison was screwing his head around at
every opportunity to watch the escape. Just when I thought
he was going to have to book in to see a chiropractor he
launched off the front of the peleton and got accross some
incredible distance in about half a lap to join the break (A
OPEN Luke !!!)

So with the fastest sprinter we have in the
club now away with the front group, it was little surprise who
eventually won the race.

B Grade was also subject of an escape with
Alan Hainsworth and Cameron working well together.

Cameron just too strong in the sprint.
Although you can see in Alan's face that he threw everything
into it.

Fourth place was highly contested and
extremely close. I hardly had the heart to tell them after
that sprint that none of them got on the podium.

C grade was unbelievably leisurely at 33.5kph
average speed but in the end Nick Issac won by a country mile in
the end. Great ride by Wayne Goold to come in second.

Leeann thought she needed some time trial
practise so she rode off the front of D grade and just kept
going.

Rebecca Fortuna had a few good results in the
Junior races and it looked as thought she enjoyed herself.
