REPORT

Well the attendance of some of the FRF/NSWIS team struck fear into the hearts of many of our A graders.

It was remiss of me yesterday not to acknowledge RBCC's  Pete "The Machine" McDonald's recent accomplishement in coming thrid in the Prestigious Continental Pro Tour, The Tour of Ireland.  Contgratulations Pete.  Also news just to hand as I write this report, Congratulations Robbie Cater who just took out the U23 State Individual Time Trial Championship at Calga.  Congratulations Robbie.  Welcome also to our third RBCC FRF/NSWIS member, Dave Treacey.

Well to give the A clubbies a bit of a go, we started A Open (International) half a lap behind and 6 of them worked together to haul back the front A graders. Above FRF/NSWIS take up the challenge.

Lap 10 of 18 and the A Opens had caught the A clubbies.  another couple of laps and Pete must have siad to himself, "Time to say goodbye" A lonely A grade Sprint finish with Pete crossing the line, the others not even in sight.

The A peleton sprint and Nash Kent claims second place.  fine sprint by A clubbie Dave Stevens to get third, then came Robbie Cater 4th and Matt Lucas 5th. Meanwhile back in B grade and all I saw was attack after attack by Dave "Knuckles" Crampton.  Was it just coincidence that the attack was happening at exactly the same place every lap.  Right at the finish line where love of his life Sue was seated and where club photographer, Rocky "cecil B de" Fortuna was poised.

B grade sprint and funny but "Knuckles" isn't in this one.  Great sprint by Sean Bloch who came flying past Adriano Maradini to take the win. Further back Alexander Hinds and Ross Mackenzie seem to be having a chat with alexander finally taking the Bronze. Who can guess the identity of this elite athlete?  Unfortunately Rocky cut off his head and rippling muscled legs so we only have a photo of the engine room of this superior athlete.
