REPORT

Andrew Riordan got off the front of A grade and although he looked like he was dragging a boat anchor up the final straight, he managed to hold off the chasing peleton.  It was an excellently planned race by Andrew.  There are very few people who can go head to head with Luke Davison in a sprint and so no surprises who took second place.  When it comes to Masters sprinters, there are very few who can come over the top of Dave Stevens who took out third place.  (Incidentally both Dave and Luke honed their skills during RBCC's Track series on Thursday nights at Tempe veledrome).

With Adriano Maradini away early in very contentious circumstances, the B grade peleton sprinted for the minor placings.  Ross Mackensie, who has been consistently in the sprint of late took it out and in so doing claimed second place.

With Ian Jennings away, Harry "Uncle Fester" Vougdis took out second place in C Grade with an excellent 3rd place ride by young Scott Carver of Lidcombe Auburb.

Talk about Dispair !!Took the tyre off. Checked inside for glass.  Someone ran the track pump out to me.  Oh s*it, I haven't got a tube.

Brad McGarry proudly showed off his new "Beemer"

Uncle Fester in action driving the C grade bunch.
