REPORT
We managed to
separate the A's into two separate scratch races this week once
again and hopefully we can continue with this program which
everyone seems much happier with.
To split A grade into
A Open and A Club, naturally we have to kick some of the
stronger A clubies up with the big boys. This week, albeit
a little reluctantly, I talked Ben Elliot into having a run with
the big boys.
Actually both the 16
year olds, Ben Elliot and Luke Davison had a fabulous
race. Robbie Cater (2nd wheel below) launched lots of
attacks and the boys responded and surged across gaps to get
back on. Luke even launched a couple of attacks himself.

Pretty soon A Open
was reduced to several bunches. One bunch became
spectators and then three bunches of 2 riders finished the race.
Robbie Cater and Dave Rae stayed away from the next bunch (Luke
and Ben). Ben looked resplendent on his Colnago with Zipp
Speed Weaponry activated

and boy did the last
buch of Sean O'Neill and Matthew Yaxley work hard! They
lost contact with the main bunch first but never gave up.
They were out there on the course alone the longest but worked
well together to eventually come in 5th & 6th.
