Thanks to Joanne Buckton & Bob Bykerk who manned the Registration desk. Special thanks to Bob who has spent many weeks developing the new RBCC registration database which together with the new club Mac Book Laptop (are you listening Apple Australia?), have aided in the new feature to the results, average lap time for the grades.

Thanks also to our safety marshals John Siounsis & Mark Simmons. Thanks to Leeann Emery for being our First Aid Officer.  Thanks also to Rocky Fortuna and Richard Jenkins who did the track setup and also to Charles Dalrymple-Hay who took the action shots whilst resident club photographer Rocky Fortuna had a very short race this week.

REPORT

No it ain't the Flying Nun.  Neither the Wright Bros nor Boeing aeronautical engineers could get this individual off the ground.

Here's a picture of him before his flaps went down.

Can you guess the name of the dope in this stupid hat?  By the way for our friendly Cycling NSW & Cycling Australia viewers, he was wearing an Australian Standards approved helmet under his bad habit.

But enough wasting valuable report space on this sad individual.  Back to some real racing:

LATE BREAKING NEWS:   Club members Peter McDonald and Robbie Cater have finished second and third respectively in stage 7 of the Tour of Gippsland.  Congratulation also to club member Peter Hertzig who was 7th in Stage 2.  All 3 club members are having a great Tour.

With the Big Guns away at the Tour of Gippsland, A Grade stayed largely together this week with Luke Davision proving both too strong and too fast on the bell lap to ride away and leave a sprint out for second between Matty Lucas and Matt Yaksley

Big Bazza Mourad launched off the front of B grade with about 2 to go and was followed by Mark Galbraith.  The two managed to stay away from the B grade Peleton.  Mark led out and Bazzza came up alongside him about 50 metres to go but Mark iniated his second kick and was able to hold off Big Bazza off for victory.

Declan Morris takes out D Grade from Ben Ter Huurne and little Ben Grant finishing 3rd

Ian Langley and Joe Gatt went head to head over about 250 metres with Joe just piping Ian to the line for victory in the E Grade event
