REPORT

The day started out with me stripping off and looking for sun block.  Then all of a sudden a cloud came over, the temperature dropped about 10 degrees C and the wind increased to just below hurricane force.  Pretty standard for an afternoon at Heffron.

Blankets became necessary equipment

The A opens reeled in A Club and then set about disappearing off the front.  This group worked well together including Brent Jenkins, Nathan Rollason, Matt Bassano and Stephen Griffiths.

Luke Davison looked pretty please with himself having taken 2 laps to get across the break to the lead group by himself.

Luke Davison timed it to perfection letting Matt Bassano do the big lead out into gale force winds, waiting for Matt to tire a little and then letting that blistering sprint loose.

No longer the Bridesmaid, finally Ross Mackenzie claims victory in B grade.

Great sprint by Jessica Griffiths to claim victory in C grade.

Camille Reed timed it to perfection letting Herve Boutin exhaust himself with a huge lead out into the head wind, then at just the right time she went around Herve to ride away to victory in D grade. Team Shimano.  Team leader, Matt Bassano had a great ride in A Grade to finish in second place.
