2013 CLUB SPONSORS

So what are the benefits of sponsorship agreement with our sponsors:

  1. Significant financial sponsorship of the club in general.
  2. New Club uniform with a more modern and professional flavour.  Uniform of high quality and subsidised to keep at low cost for members.
  3. Major support for members competing at opens and the formation of teams to contest these events..
  4. RBCC will now be able to supply a development stream for riders from Juniors of 5 or 6 years old right through to A graders competing in our Elite team at the major "Classic" races.
  5. Randwick Botany Cycling Club will have more funds to assist with our Junior Development program, purchase assets and to assist the general members of the club.

So as a member what do you have to do:

  1. Wear your Randwick Botany uniform proudly whether you are training or racing and in doing so support your club and your sponsor.
  2. Train hard and perhaps one day you may be in a position to be selected in the RBCC representative team and contest the Opens.
  3. Use and thereby support the club's sponsors goods and/or services.  By supporting the clubs sponsors you are supporting yourselves and guaranteeing ongoing sponsorship support for our club.
  4. Be a racing member or be a social member.  The choice is yours.  You can enjoy your club in any way you choose.  Whilst we would encourage members to race, there are plenty of other things to do (become an official, volunteer, etc).  Take my wife Joanne for example, even though she does not ride, she is an  accredited NSW Commissaire.  She enjoys the club immensely and assists in the sports administration side of cycling.  Everyone can enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the comradery at Randwick Botany.  You choose as to whether you want to represent your club at race meetings, enjoy your club championship competition, enjoy the training rides, enjoy the training camps, enjoy the social occasions or any or all of the above.
  5. Enjoy being a member of the Randwick Botany Cycling Club and spread the word about our great club.

Note:  Why is "Wear your Club uniform" in bold above?  2013 sees RBCC with the highest level of financial support than we have ever experienced in the Club's history.  We have achieved this by being professional in both our approach and appearance. This is reflected in the fact that for the first time ever, sponsors have approached us with a view to coming aboard and not vice versa.  When all the members wear their club uniform, not only do they showcase the club but they showcase our sponsors as well.  It is this professionalism which is attractive to sponsors as a excellent resource to expose their products and/or services to the public market.  We urge all RBCC members to wear their club uniform proudly and whenever possible.  By doing this we ensure continued financial support of the club which of course is channeled back into into the members.
