Battle of the Bridge – Round 1 – 24 June 2017

Just over 24 hours till the Battle of the Bridge commences. Six clubs will be fighting over the best trophy on offer across the universe!

Riders please note that there will be NO on the day entries for Grade A-C. All riders must have pre registered via www.trybooking.com/291487 and there is only 3 spots left in A Grade. All others are sold out.

We will be running an open D Grade and Women’s Only Grade at 2pm. This is open to all riders but you must have a race licence. You can enter on the day for these Grades.

We will also be putting on beers and a BBQ post race, so no need to rush home!

Competing riders please note that if you are dropped from your grade, you will be encouraged to pull yourself from the race in order to maximise safety rather than continue to pedal around.

Grades being passed by another grade, riders are to yield to that grade and let them pass. This is not an opportunity to jump on the back of a passing grade.

The series will take place over four races:

24 June – Heffron Park RBCC Race – A, B, C Grades

16 July – Beaumont Road NSCC Race

23 July – West Head MWCC Race

30 July – Heffron Park SUVelo Race

The series is only open to members of the following clubs:  RBCC, Manly, Northern Sydney, SUVelo, Easts and Central Coast.

Given we are expecting high numbers, we will be capping the race entries at Heffron Park on Saturday, 24 June 2017 so we are taking on-line entries on a first in best dressed basis.  Entries are already selling fast, so don’t miss out and enter via this link now!  Entry fee for Round 1 is the usual $20 and we will be paying our usual prize money!

We are also planning on holding a D Grade and Women’s Race at 2pm on Saturday, 24 June – entries for these races can be made on the day and are open to all Clubs.
