Another great afternoon at Heffron Park – this time with the sun shining (well for most of the time)! Great to see many old faces and lots of new ones too.
We hosted the Women’s Come N Try Race prior to normal racing and even though we only had a few starters, I think they all had fun and learnt a lot! Thanks to Anna, Daniele and Clare for your time this afternoon helping with this Cycling NSW initiative.
Racing wouldn’t have been possible without our awesome Volunteer team and a massive thank you to Calvin Smith and his team (Stavros, Ian, Sam, Brian, Dietmar and Stew)! Matt Hynes was our wonderful Commissaire and Alex was First Aider (but thankfully not very busy!). Hope I haven’t forgotten anyone as it was a great turnout of volunteers!
Well done to all the juniors who were first down to Heffron Park and had a session with Andrew Logan – it was awesome to see so many of you!
REMINDER: NO RACING NEXT WEEK AS THE CLUB IS SUPPORTING THE B2B WEEKEND OF RACING IN BATHURST – SEE YOU ON 8 APRIL FOR THE NEXT RACE!
